Privacy policy
This notice explains what Shoply does with personal data. It is written to match Armenian law on the protection of personal data.
What we collect on shoply.am
When you ask for a shop or write to us in the chat: your name, phone number, email address, what your business sells and what you wrote. When you run a shop on Shoply: the details of your account and your business. And technical data such as your IP address and the pages you looked at.
Why we use it
To answer your request and call you back, to provide and invoice our service to your shop, to keep the service safe from fraud, and — if you ask for it — to send you news about Shoply. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Shops' customers
A shop's site is run by Shoply for that shop. The data its customers give there (orders, accounts, delivery addresses) belongs to the shop, which decides how it is used; Shoply stores and processes it for the shop only, and passes to couriers and payment providers only what they need. Shoply never stores card numbers.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to provide ours, such as email, hosting and payment providers. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to us and we will act on it.
Shops that connect Facebook, Instagram or TikTok
A shop on Shoply may connect its Facebook Page, Instagram professional account or TikTok account so that Shoply can publish the shop's products there for it. Shoply then keeps, encrypted, only the access tokens Meta or TikTok gives it, the Page's or account's id and name, and the posts it published. It uses them only to publish the posts the shop asks for. The shop can disconnect at any time in its dashboard; removing Shoply's app in Facebook, Instagram or TikTok settings, or asking Meta or TikTok to delete the data, removes the tokens from Shoply at once. Posts already published stay on those platforms until the shop deletes them there.
Cookies
Shoply uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and your chat. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site will then stop working.
